Nakiisa ang lokal na pamahalaan sa idinaos na National Fiber Backbone (NFB) Phase 1 soft launch na proyekto ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Ang NFB, na nasa 90% completion rate na, ay isa sa mga components ng major flagship program na National Broadband Program ng DICT. Layon nitong mapabilis, mapalawak, at maging abot-kaya ang internet accessibility at digital connectivity sa buong bansa.
Dumalo sina City Administrator Michael Alimurung at QC Information Technology Development Department head Paul S. Padilla bilang kinatawan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte.
