Malapit nang buksan sa publiko ang NLEX-SLEX Connector Project matapos inspeksyunin ng NLEX Corporation kasama ang kinatawan ng QC tulad nina Asst. City Administrator for Operations Alberto Kimpo at District 1 Rep. Arjo Atayde ang kahabaan ng connector project. Nakiisa rin sina Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval at Valenzuela City Coun. Recar Enriquez sa tour.

Layon ng proyekto na magbigay ng mas convenient na daan at mabawasan ang dami ng mga sasakyan sa mga pangunahing kalsada sa Metro Manila.

Pinangunahan ng pamunuan ng NLEX Corporation ang tour kasama sina Mr. J. Luigi Bautista, President & General Manager, Mr. Nemesio Castillo, VP for Tollways Development & Engineering, Ms. West Dionisio, VP for Operations, Ms. Donna Marcelo, VP for Communication and Stakeholder Management, Mr. Glenn Campos, VP for Technology, Ms. Jennifer Jane Go, VP for Asset Management, at Mr. Romulo Quimbo, Spokesperson and Adviser for Government Relations.

Target na maging bukas sa publiko ang NLEX-SLEX Connector Project sa March 27 ngayong taon. Ang proyekto ay babaybayin ang mga sumusunod na lugar: Caloocan Interchange on C3 Road, Dimasalang, España Blvd., R. Magsaysay Blvd., up to the vicinity of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Sta. Mesa, Manila, with on and off ramps at C3, España Blvd., and Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard.
