Para bigyang tulong ang mga biktima ng gender-based violence sa QC, lumagda ang pamahalaang lungsod katuwang ang Integrated Bar of the Philippines QC at ilang kongresista sa Memorandum of Understanding na ginanap ngayong araw sa House of Representatives.

Sa pamamagitan ng QC Protection Center makapagbibigay ng social and psychosocial services ang lungsod para sa mga biktima ng gender-based violence tulad ng shelter, rehabilitation, recovery and reintegration to society at marami pang iba. Tutulong din ang IPB QC para sa legal assistance para sa mga biktima at survivors ng pang-aabuso.

Dumalo si Coun. Doc Ellie Juan, City Council Committee on Women, Family Relations and Gender Equality chairperson bilang kinatawan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte sa ginanap na ceremonial signing. Nakiisa rin sina Atty. Marcelino Atanante, presidente ng Integrated Bar of the Philippines QC Chapter, Atty. Antonio Pido, Executive VP ng IBP-QC, Hon. Reginald Velasco, Secretary General ng House of Representatives, Hon. Yedda Marie Romualdez, Chairperson Committee on Accounts sa kongreso, at Hon. Ma. Rene Ann Lourdes Matibag, Vice Chairperson Committee on Women and Gender Equality.
