Mayor Joy Belmonte pledged her commitment and support to the Buenos Aires Declaration: Open Government for Climate Action in Local Governments.

Alongside Mayor Joy were the Mayor of Buenos Aires Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Governor of Santiago Metropolitan Region Claudio Orrego Larraín, Mayor of Sao Paulo Ricardo Nunes, and Open Government Partnership Deputy Director Rudi Borrmann.
