Personal na tinanggap ni Mayor Joy ang pagkilala sa ginanap na awarding ceremony sa Manila Hotel.
Ang SGLG ang pinakamataas na pagkilala na ibinibigay ng DILG sa mga LGU na nagpakita ng best practices sa mga sumusunod na kategorya: financial administration and sustainability; disaster preparedness; social protection and sensitivity; health compliance and responsiveness; sustainable education; business-friendliness and competitiveness; safety, peace and order; environmental management; tourism, heritage development, culture and arts; at, youth development.
