Nakamit ng Lungsod Quezon ang NCR Resilience Champion Award mula sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), at United Nations Development Programme Philippines (UNDP PH).

Ito’y bilang pagkilala sa epektibong pagpaplano at dedikasyon sa pag-mainstream ng Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (DRRM-CCAM) sa Comprehensive Development Plan ng lungsod.

Tinanggap ni Assistant City Administrator for Operations Alberto Kimpo ang parangal, kasama sina QC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Officer-in-Charge Maria Bianca Perez, at City Planning and Development Department Representative Henry Lagasca.
