Mabuhay ang mga QCitizen volunteer!

Ngayong International Volunteers Day, kinilala ng QC Government ang mga indibidwal at grupo na buong-pusong naglingkod at tumulong sa mga mamamayan nang walang hinihintay na kapalit.

Binigyan ng Special Recognition for Selfless Service sina Mr. Gerald Anderson at Mr. Jayson “Boss Toyo” Luzadas para sa kanilang pagtulong sa mga QCitizen na naapektuhan ng pananalasa ng Bagyong Carina at Habagat noong Hulyo.

Sina Mayor Joy Belmonte at Barangay and Community Relations Department (BCRD) Head Ricky Corpuz ang nagbigay ng parangal kina Anderson at Boss Toyo.

Ipinahayag naman ni Mayor Joy ang pasasalamat sa mga volunteer, na katuwang ng lungsod sa paghahatid ng mga programa at serbisyo sa mga komunidad, lalo na sa mga bahagi ng pinaka nangangailangang sektor.

Narito ang top 3 individuals at groups na nagkamit ng Outstanding Volunteers Award mula sa lokal na pamahalaan:

INDIVIDUAL:

1st place – AUX LTJG Michael Louie Fabre Ismael, PCGA ng Barangay Pasong Tamo

2nd place – Manuel L. Los Añes Jr. ng Barangay Ramon Magsaysay

3rd place – Fidel Lorenzo Nisperos ng Barangay Sangandaan

GROUP:

3rd place – Social Service Faith in Action Volunteer Inc. ng Barangay Payatas at Our Lady of Salvacion Homeowners Association II, Inc ng Barangay Commonwealth

2nd place – Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Nagtutulungan ng CBE Town (SAMAKANA) Inc ng Barangay Pasong Tamo

1st place – Association of Concerned Elders of Sangandaan ng Barangay Sangandaan
