Ginawaran ng Government Best Practices Recognition ang dalawang programa ng Pamalahaang Lungsod mula sa Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).

Kabilang dito ang QC Delivers: Automated Document Delivery System ng Quezon City Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD) at QC BUILD EASY: An Organized Approach in Building Regulation ng

Quezon City Department of Building Official (DBO).

Ang GBPR ay inisyatiba ng DAP, sa pamamagitan ng Government Quality Management Program (GQMP), upang kilalanin ang innovatice practices na isinasagawa sa mga pampublikong sektor.
