ABOUT US
Description
The QCBAS is the coordinating and advisory body to the City Government for the formulation of the policies, plans, programs, projects, and activities for the well-being of Bangsamoro in Quezon City. QCBAS helps ensure the rights and well-being of Bangsamoro people in Quezon City with due regard to their beliefs, customs, traditions, and institutions. QCBAS further enhances their contributions to local goals and aspirations and helps them become active participants in the attainment of a peaceful, stable, and economically prosperous community.
Mission
To provide service to the Bangsamoro Communities and assist the City Government in the formulation of the policies, plans, programs, projects, and activities for the well-being of Bangsamoro in Quezon City.
Vision
To ensure the rights and well-being of the Bangsamoro people in Quezon City.

SERVICES
MAINTAIN BANGSAMORO COMMUNITY RELATIONS
- Continuous monitoring and reporting on Peace and Order situation, illegal drug campaign, compliance to the Minimum Standard of Health Protocol;
- Dialogue or meeting with the barangay officials, local police authorities and the Bangsamoro Communities;
- Monitoring of the enforcement of Health Protocol within the communities;
- Participation in the affairs of QC Peace and Order Council;
- Coordinate with QCPD operating units and AFP units thru SALAM Police Unit in the conduct of operations against terrorism in Bangsamoro Communities to ensure that the Rule of Law are properly observed and Human Rights are not Violated.
PROMOTE ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG CAMPAIGN
- Organize Drug-clearing projects in identified Bangsamoro Communities;
- Briefing or orientation on Drug Clearing Projects;
- Organization of BMADAG;
- Organization of BMADAG Auxiliary Team;
- Conduct of BMADAG Operations;
- Pre-Operation Phase;
- Operation Phase;
- Post-Operation Phase;
- Participate in the operations of QCADAAC
CONDUCT VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND JOB PLACEMENT
- Coordination with TESDA on their livelihood training program and other government agencies;
- Coordinate with PESO on the Job Placement;
- Referral of applicants to PESO for Database;
- Assist applicants for retooling and livelihood training;
- Support and assist applicants for Job Placement.
ASSIST AND PROMOTE LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM
- Support the operation of the cooperative and encourage communities to join the cooperative;
- Work on the project of the QC Government
- Assist Bangsamoro Businesses and Vendors with concerns such as vending sites and etc.
RESETTLEMENT OF INFORMAL SETTLERS
- Support the LGU QC relocation program in coordination with HCDRD.
CULTURAL AFFAIRS
- Monitoring of Madrasah (ALIVE) program.
- Sharia counseling program.
- Burial Assistance and monitoring or maintaining of QC/Rodriguez Islamic Cemetery.
- Islamic religious events (EID’L FITR and EID’L ADHA).

LIVELIHOOD TRAINING PROGRAM
The Bangsamoro Affairs Service organized a joint project with the Barangay Holy Spirit, Social Services Development Department (SSDD), and Vocational Development Division on dressmaking and tailoring.

HOW TO SECURE BURIAL PERMIT AND ASSISTANCE
STEPS:
- Call the office to inform them of the person’s corpse/body for burial.
Tumawag sa opisina at ipabatid na mayroong ililibing. - Secure Referral Letter from respective Community Leader.
Kumuha ng Referral Letter mula sa Community Leader ng inyong Komunidad. - Proceed to the office to secure the Burial Permit.
Pumunta sa Opisina para kumuha ng Burial Permit. - A phone call shall be made by the office’s staff to the caretaker of the Muslim Burial Grounds (located in Rodriguez, Rizal) for grave digging.
Tatawag ang opisina sa caretaker ng Muslim Burial Grounds (sa Rodriguez, Rizal) para magpahukay ng libingan. - Bring the person’s body to the Muslim Burial Grounds.
Dalhin ang pumanaw na kaanak sa Muslim Burial Grounds. - Pay the following fees:
- PHP 1,300 : grave digging (hukay)
- PHP 1,200 : ‘dingding alley’
- PHP 200 : Burial tax of the Civil Registry of Rodriguez, Rizal
Note: You may proceed to the nearest mosque/masjid or at the Muslim Burial Grounds to bathe the person’s corpse/body.

SPOTLIGHT
THE CREATION OF QUEZON CITY MUSLIM CONSULTATIVE COUNCIL (QCMC)
The issuance of Executive Order No. 4, series of 2004, by former City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte, Jr., gave rise to the creation of the Quezon City Muslim Consultative Council, now known as the Quezon City Bangsamoro Affairs Service, as a coordinating and advisory body to the city government in the implementation and monitoring of policies, plans, programs, and activities as well as issues affecting Muslim communities in Quezon City, to ensure their rights and well-being.
