Bumisita si Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro Herbosa at mga opisyal ng Quezon City Government sa New York Spa at Gruppo Barbero sa Timog Avenue upang paalalahanan ang management tungkol sa pagbibigay ng abiso at tamang protocols sa pag-iwas sa MPOX.
Nakitaan ng maayos na health protocols ang dalawang establisimyento at handa rin silang patuloy na makipagtulungan sa DOH at lokal na pamahalaan.
Nais rin ng DOH at ng lokal na pamahalaan na makipagdayalogo sa ibang miyembro ng spa industry. Tuluy-tuloy rin ang joint inspection ng Quezon City Health Department (QCHD) at Quezon City Business Permits and Licensing Department (QCBPLD) sa mga vulnerable establishments upang mapigilan ang pagkalat ng mpox sa lungsod.
Kasama rin sa inspeksyon ang mga opisyal ng DOH na sina Usec. Gloria Balboa, Asec. Albert Domingo, at DOH-NCR Regional Director Rio Magpantay. Sumama rin sa site visit sina Chief of Staff Rowena Macatao, QCHD OIC Ramona Abarquez, QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Division Head Dr. Rolly Cruz, QC BPLD Head Margie Mejia, Gender and Development Council Secretary Janete Oviedo, Traffic and Transport Management Department Head Dexter C. Cardenas, at City Legal Atty. Carlo Austria.
