The local government of Quezon City through the Social Services Development Department has started the Social Welfare Assistance Program aimed to help mitigate the hardships of the most seriously disadvantated members of the community.

Under the program target beneficiaries will receive a monthly allowance of P500.00 for a maximum of twelve (12) months.
