Dumalo si Mayor Joy Belmonte sa opening ceremony nito ngayong umaga, kasama sina Decathlon Philippines Chief Financial Officer Eric Guinard, SM Supermalls Senior Assistant Vice President for Operations Ms. Johanna Rupisan, Decathlon Fairview Store Leader Janella Landayan, at Mr. Jean-Marc Arbogast.

Kilala ang Decathlon bilang go-to store ng mga sports aficionado. Isa rin ito sa mga negosyong compliant sa green building policy ng lungsod.

Bukod sa SM Fairview, mayroon na rin silang concept store sa SM City North EDSA.
