C40 Cities Mayors announced their common effort to drive the creation of 50 million good green jobs by 2030 at the C40 World Mayors Summit 2022 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Present in the Green Jobs press conference were Mayor of London and Chair of C40 Sadiq Khan, Mayor of Buenos Aires Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Mayor of Phoenix and C40 Vice Chair for Green Jobs Kate Gallego, Mayor of Tshwane Randall Williams, and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
