Taxpayers filing for the renewal of their business permits can now avoid long lines and unnecessary face-to-face interaction by using the Quezon City E-Services Kiosks located at City Hall and several satellite locations.

Mayor Joy Belmonte said using the self-service kiosks have been observed to effectively cut the processing time of filing for business permit renewal to just two minutes.

“Mas madali na ngayon para sa taxpayers natin ang pagkuha ng kanilang permit. Hindi na kailangan dumaan sa fixer o humanap pa ng kakilala sa loob para mapabilis ang proseso. Mabilis at patas na ang proseso para sa lahat,” said Mayor Joy Belmonte.

Head of the Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD) Ma. Margarita Santos said that some of the kiosks are strategically located at the lobby of the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) so taxpayers can easily access their QC E-Services accounts after payment of their dues.

“From there, they can either scan the QR Code found in their permit or manually input their Mayor’s Permit number. They will then receive a digital copy of their business permit through the e-mail address they used to register into the system. Overall, this process takes only about two minutes.”

Santos added that through the city’s Automatic Document Delivery System (ADDS), the physical copy of the business permit will subsequently be delivered directly to the registered business address.

BPLD staff are also assigned to man the kiosks and assist citizens who are first-time users in order to guide them through the process.

As of writing, the local government has deployed 20 QC E-services kiosks within the city– seven are in the Quezon City Hall-CTO, one is in the QC Hall-City Health Department, and 12 others are in satellite offices such as at Unang Hakbang St., Barangay San Isidro Galas; the District 3 Action Office, Barangay Marilag; Mayon St., Barangay Salvacion; the Talipapa Barangay Hall; and the Novaliches District Center.

Some kiosks are located in malls such as Ali Mall Cubao, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Galleria, Ayala Fairview Terraces, Fisher Mall, SM City North Edsa, and Robinsons Novaliches.

Other services that may also be accessed using the kiosks are the following: Building Permit One Stop Shop, Business One Stop Shop, and Kalingang QC Para Sa Negosyo.

Citizens will also be able to file applications for the following: Occupation Permit, Pangkabuhayang QC, QCitizen ID, QC Vax Easy, Real Property Tax Payment, and Solo Parent Certificate Renewal.
