The QCTD is the primary planning, programming, coordinating, implementing, and regulatory local government department focusing on the development and promotion of the tourism industry within the territorial jurisdiction of Quezon City.

Services
ISSUANCE OF TOURISM CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION
The Tourism Certificate of Registration is issued to tourism enterprises that submitted the minimum requirements and paid the corresponding registration fee. The certification contains basic information about the tourism enterprises and certifies that the enterprises is registered with QC Tourism Department.

GUIDES
HOW TO PROCESS TOURISM CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION OR ENDORSEMENT FOR ACCREDITATION TO DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM (DOT)
The Tourism Certificate of Registration/Endorsement for Accreditation is issued to tourism establishments that submit the minimum requirements and paid the corresponding registration fee. The certification contains basic information about the tourism establishment and certifies that the establishment is registered with the QC Tourism Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
1 photocopy, present original copy or e-copy
- Unified Business Permit Application Form
- Department of Trade and Industry or Securities and Exchange Commission Registration
- Barangay Clearance
- Tax Bill and Official Receipt for the Current Year that includes Tourism Registration Fee
- Additional Requirement for Travel Agency Only
- Surety Bond (1 Original Copy)
- (Insurance Coverage: PHP 500,000)
PROCESS:
- Log on to QC E-Services and submit the accomplished Unified Business Permit Application Form online together with the necessary supporting documents, depending on your application type.
- Wait for the confirmation email reply.
- Wait for an email on details of the release of the Certificate of Tourism Registration or Endorsement to DOT.
- Inform QCTD (through email or phone call) if the Tourism Certificate of Registration or Endorsement will be picked up or delivered. Courier of Choice with cost charged to the receiver or applicant.
- Wait and claim the Tourism Certificate of Registration or Endorsement.
NOTE:
- Processing time starts upon acceptance of the application with complete requirements
- Senior citizens, pregnant women, persons with disabilities, and liaison officers with multiple transactions (10 branches/companies and above) may be entertained as “walk-in applicants”

PEDRISTA FESTIVAL (SAN PEDRO BAUTISTA)
Religious history buffs will find Quezon City’s oldest Catholic Church at the Basilica Minore de Santuario de San Pedro Bautista. Founded in 1590 by Father Pedro Bautista, a Franciscan Spanish missionary from Avila, Spain, and one of the 26 Christians martyred in Japan in 1957.
Last February 3, District One celebrated the PEDRISTA FESTIVAL with a street dance competition participated by more than 10 QC-based schools along FPJ Avenue, Barangay Paraiso. This was followed by a mass held last February 4 to commemorate the 91st Parish Fiesta at the Basilica Minore de Santuario de San Pedro Bautista. The event was attended by Mayor Joy Belmonte, Congressman Arjo Atayde, members of the city council, and the executive department.
QC CHINATOWN LUNAR NEW YEAR
The Quezon City Government along with the Filipino-Chinese Business Associations embarked on a three-day celebration of the Chinese New Year this 2024. The 3-day event held last February 9-11 began with the first CQC Chinatown Heritage Tour which was participated by the media, content creators, and friends from the business communities. The QC TOURISM Department who led the annual celebration curated the tour sites which were introduced to the participants. Among these sites were: Sheng Lian Temple, Tzu Chi Buddhist Humanitarian Temple, Filipino-Chinese Friendship Arch, WOW Toy Museum, D’ Original Maki Haus, Hokki Dumpling, Mandarin Sky, Causeway Seafood Restaurant, Cai Hok Restaurant, and David’s Tea House. A sampling of the specialty dishes of these food stops was enjoyed by media and the content creators from sun-up to sun-down.
Among the major activities for three days was the Chinese Food, Arts, and Crafts Fair from merchants who came from Pasay, Paranaque, Makati, Manila, and San Juan. Guests were entertained with a free concert from Autotelic, actor, Mr. Jake Cuenca, and acoustic singer, Lirah.
The program was hosted by Ms. Gretchen Ho and Mr. Stanley Chi. A grand fireworks display was the culminating activity for the Chinese New Year.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS
- Stevie Awards 2021 – Gold, Innovation in Government Publications
“Made in QC: Emerging Essentials”, a Stevie Gold Awardee, came in the middle of the pandemic in 2020. It featured forty (40) of the micro-small- medium enterprises without brick and mortar from QC trying to make both ends meet in these trying times. The QC Government produced this book to highlight the locally made products from our artisans and community livelihood programs, to assist the MSMEs promote their crafts from food, beverage, home accessories, personal care and for the lifestyle market. Currently, there are 5 volumes with a total of 200+ featured enterprises.
The Stevie Awards are the world’s premier business awards. They were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide

This Award of Recognition from the Department of Tourism was given to QC LGU through the QC Tourism Department to honor the Outstanding contribution of the department during the height of the government’s anti-Covid19 operations.

Nagwagi bilang Best Tourism Promotion Video (city category) ang “Come Explore and Rediscover Quezon City” ng Quezon City Tourism Department.
Ang Pearl Awards ay isang annual recognition na binuo ng ATOP upang kilalanin ang mga natatanging local government units (LGU) na nagsusulong ng mga programa at proyekto kaugnay sa pagpapaunlad ng turismo.
