Humakot ng parangal ang Quezon City Government sa 2024 SustainEnabler Awards ng Department of Social Welfare & Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR).

Layon ng SustainEnabler Awards na itampok at bigyang-pagkilala ang natatanging kwento ng tagumpay ng mga benepisyaryo ng Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) ng DSWD.

Wagi bilang Best Short Film sa Punlaserye: Mga Kwentong SLP (Short Film) Category ang QC LGU, sa pangunguna ng Social Services Development Department (SSDD) at Public Affairs and Information Services Department (PAISD) para sa short film na “Kalinga”.

Tampok sa short film ang kwento ng pagpupunyagi ng SLP beneficiary na si Rowena Ordan na taga-Brgy. Obrero.

Nasungkit rin ng QC ang Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, People’s Choice Award, at 2nd Place – Best Screenplay para sa “Kalinga”.

3rd Place naman para sa Outstanding Program Participant – Microenterprise Development Category ang taga-Brgy. Commonwealth na si Ms. Maribel Roa na SLP beneficiary rin ng SSDD.

Dumalo sa programa sina Ms. Elma DR. Ocrisma, Chief Manpower Development Officer ng Vocational Development Division ng SSDD, Ms. Jarielle Andrea Reyes, Assistant Department Head ng PAISD, at “Kalinga” writer/director Mr. Oman Bañez.
